The request from Caritas Sri Lanka to formulate a Child Protection Policy document was the crowning glory at the end of an eventful 3rd Year of C R L’s existence. A land mark document in the history of Child Rights in Sri Lanka, it is the first of its kind in the country. We are proud of the monumental role we played in preparing it in our usual participatory mode. Thank you Caritas Sri Lanka for the trust and confidence placed in us.
A wonderful day was unfolding. A number of figures stood motionless and still around the pond at Vishwa Niketan – the International Peace Center- in the soft glow of the early morning.
