The 60th anniversary celebrations of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights brought together a distinguished gathering of Members of Diplomatic Missions, Representatives of U.N. Agencies, Secretaries of Ministries, Members of the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka, International Non-Government Organizations, Local Non-Government Organizations, legal luminaries and young lawyers at the Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies, Colombo, Sri Lanka on 10th December 2008, International Human Rights Day. Dr. Charika Marasinghe, Founder-Director of C R L International (Gte) Ltd., had the privilege of being invited by the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka to grace the occasion as the Guest of Honour and deliver the Keynote Address on the theme ‘Justice and Dignity for All’.
